Antroporol - The game
Antroporol is a game created by José Angel Peña, professor of the UPV/EHU, which has given permission to publish it in our blog. The objective of the game is to understand the main factors that affect the microevolution of the human populations, as well as to stimulate the capacity of collaboration and the practice of the leadership.
​
In the game all the participants share a spreadsheet, in which some characteristics of the individuals of a series of populations in a certain generation are described. At the moment, this is made by means of GoogleDrive. The participants can modify in this file some variables of each individual: Migration, War and Interchange.
​
This game will give you the opportunity to create a population from zero and to see how this one evolves, acquiring differentabilities. Each population will have its own language and it will be possible to be interchanged with others, so that it increases its culture. In addition to this, communities of mystics and teachers exist, among others.

In summary, if you want to understand concepts such as the Wahlund effect or the genetic drift, besides to declare the war to to your companions without suffering real physical damage, we recommended to you to play this game.

The Big Bone Theory Productions #1
The staff of The Big Bone Theory have been thinking for a while, and we've decided (considering that our blog is going so well) ​to become ourselves in movie producers. Obviously, we are going to make our films based on the best theme ever, the anthropology.
​
But, maybe because we don't have so much imagination we decided to focus on remakes of great movies. (Everybody likes remakes... Don't they?)
​
So, in our premiere, we want to make the version of the famous "The Lord of The Rings". In our movie, a group of Austhrolopitecus is going to have to face so many dangers in the way of becoming the real lord of evolution, the Lord of the Bones.
